Magazine: The registration fee will include a booklet with meeting agendas, local maps and information about hotels, the Subud center, restaurants, night activities and international telephone centers.

Money: the currency is the Argentine peso ( $1 peso = US$ 1).  Money can be changed at any bank. We recommend not using traveller´s checks since its not possible to change them in Mina Clavero. Mina has two ATM machines. Foreign tourists report that they can withdraw money in pesos from their home accounts using these machines. Contact your bank for more information. Most stores also accept American dollars. Argentina is more expensive than other South America countries, but still slightly cheaper than European and American prices.

Telephones: Long distance communications are not difficult from Mina Clavero. There are several telephone centers with International Direct Dialing. We recommend making calls from these locations.

Weather: In the province of Cordoba the weather in November is usually warm in the day and chilly at night. Occasional warm rains are common.  Since unexpected weather patterns are becoming more common all over the world we advise members to come prepared.

Safety: The town of Mina Clavero is safe and quiet. People leave their cars unlocked. Theft is uncommon. We hope men and women will feel comfortable walking around town day and night.
